Adobe Animal Hospital is open 365 days a year and 24 hrs a day. We have 21 doctors and 100 other staff members available to care for your pets. We are equipped with an in-house laboratory, fiber optics, ultrasound machines, radiology (x-rays), computerized record system and a 24 hr ICU.

We regularly treat dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice and rats. We also treat the occasional sheep, goat, pig and even an occasional cow or alpaca.

Being a large group practice gives us many advantages. Many of our veterinarians have received additional training in areas of special interests. As a result, we have doctors available to perform ultrasound and endoscopic examinations, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries and care for exotic animal species. A group practice also means we have built in consultants; often multiple doctors will be thinking about and working on your pet's case. When needed, we also consult with local specialists in internal medicine, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, neurology and dermatology.

Adobe Animal Hospital is an open hospital. We believe that both you and your pet will be more relaxed and comfortable if you are together. This means you can be present for any treatment we perform. We also have ICU visiting hours so you can visit your hospitalized pet from 9 am to 10 pm seven days a week.

Adobe Animal Hospital was voted best veterinary hospital in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 by the Palo Alto Weekly. We support rescue organizations by giving discounts where applicable. We support the community by offering a discount to rescue organizations and to senior citizens. We also support our local humane societies by offering the first visit free to our mutual clients.
