Urgent care and emergencies are 24/7. These walk-in cases are seen on a first come, first-served basis, unless your pet is unstable and needs immediate care. In those cases a technician will check your pet, and will call for a doctor to see you immediately. If you have an exotic pet (something other than a cat or dog), please call before coming to make sure that we can accommodate your animal.
We encourage you to form a relationship with a “primary care doctor,” someone who works with you the most often will be coming to Adobe and someone who can get to know you and your pet and take care of routine and on-going problems. Of course, none of our doctors can work all of the time, so urgent problems can be effectively handled by other members of our staff when your primary doctor is not available. Since our records are computerized, all of your pet’s history will be available to any doctor caring for your pet.
When scheduling surgeries, please call our surgery scheduling line (650-209-9305) and leave a message or use our online form. The surgery staff will call you back and discuss when to drop off your pet, prices, and any other details about the surgery. Often they need to call when you may not be available, so be sure to leave a number where there is an answering machine.
Your hospitalized pet will receive around-the-clock care and attention and the veterinarian is
always consulted if any changes in your pet’s condition occur.
Yes, you may stay with your pets during any part of their stay with us.
