Special Interests: Dentistry, Nutrition, Preventative Care

Pets: Sir Quigley (Orange Tabby), Kirby (Marble Tabby)

I grew up in Dublin California and I went to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Dairy Science. While in San Luis Obispo I participated in a varied amount of jobs figuring out what I wanted to do with my life, including: dairy calf feeder, community service officer for campus police department, Starbucks barista,  abattoir employee, Escuela cow-calf Ranch and Swanton Pacific Stocker cattle ranch participant, to name a few.  Instead of staying local for veterinary school, I expanded my horizons and attended Washington State University in Pullman Washington (GO COUGS!).

After graduating WSU I started working in Thousand Oaks, CA in a private practice with occasional shifts at the emergency hospital. While working in a small private practice, I discovered I enjoy dentistry and working with clients to be proactive in the care of their pet. Although it is always sunny and 70 in Los Angeles, I did miss seasons and being close to family and friends in northern California. Unexpectedly, my husband switched jobs and we moved to San Jose! While working in the area I heard friends talk about Adobe and what a wonderful clinic it was. I excitedly joined the staff in April 2015. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their pet parents while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. I hope you also feel comfortable  while in our open hospital and have the opportunity to see all that goes on in the care of your pet.

When I am not in the hospital I spend my time training for triathlons, hiking, camping, rock climbing, traveling to visit friends and wrangling my two cats Sir Quigley (found in a box next to a garbage dumpster) and Kirby (came into urgent care at Adobe covered in fleas and full of worms).
