My life has revolved around animals from a very young age, so it was natural that as a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian. I even opened my own veterinary clinic in our living room at the age of 10.

As I grew up I developed a strong interest in biology and attended UC Santa Cruz with the goal of becoming a marine biologist. I also loved teaching kids about science, and completed a minor in Education & Teaching.

During college, I was lucky enough to work as a marine mammal trainer at UCSC’s Long Marine Lab, where I trained dolphins, sea lions, seals, and sea otters for physiologic research studies. Working closely with these animals rekindled my interest in veterinary medicine, and after college I decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I attended Ross University; an AVMA-accredited veterinary school located on the beautiful island of St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean, and completed my clinical rotations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I survived a cold, snowy Wisconsin winter, and after graduation moved to southern California to complete a post-graduate emergency, surgery, and medicine internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA.

I absolutely love being a vet, and cannot imagine myself in any other career. I am so excited to be joining the fabulous team of veterinary professionals at Adobe. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with my family and friends. I have two cats: Nemo, a lazy orange tabby cat and a St. Kitts native; and Gatsby, a talkative grey tabby who enjoys knocking breakable objects off counter tops.
