As a kid, I always wanted to be a veterinarian (or an astronaut). But at the time I thought everyone else wanted to be a vet, too, so I didn’t take my interest very seriously. Instead I really got into photography. It wasn’t until after my sophomore year in college, during a summer internship in Manhattan where I helped put together an art exhibit on the subject of genetics, that I decided: “Hey this science stuff is really cool!” Meanwhile, I was fostering a litter of kittens and loving it, so I started to think, “Maybe I really DO want to be a veterinarian!”

I transferred to the University of Washington to complete my veterinary prerequisites and then applied to UC Davis for veterinary school. After graduating with my DVM in 2008, I completed a postgraduate emergency, surgery, and medicine internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. I stayed in LA for a couple of years and worked in a general practice and emergency hospital before moving back up to beautiful Northern California.

I love surgery, emergency, and general practice, and I’m very excited to be working with the amazing team of veterinary professionals at Adobe Animal Hospital.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling both locally and abroad, practicing yoga, going to the beach, and hanging out with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Rory, and my two cats, Joey and Fiona.  I\\\'ve also recently started showing my Golden Retriever, Lilah.
