I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a veterinarian, and have always had a love and respect for all animals. In pursuit of this goal, I graduated from the University of California at Davis in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology.

After graduating from UC Davis veterinary school in 2008, I headed to the East coast to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey.

Returning to the idyllic West coast, I worked overnight emergency at both an emergency and specialty hospital and a general practice before joining the phenomenal team at Adobe in 2012.  Working at Adobe has allowed me to hone my internal medicine skills and interest in advanced general medicine and critical care.  This inspiration led me to complete the required credentials and pass the examination to become certified as a Diplomate in Canine and Feline Practice in 2016.

When not at work I enjoy bird watching, hiking and traveling.
