I started at Adobe Animal Hospital in 2000 straight out of vet school at UC Davis, after having grown up on the east coast and attended Brown University. After four years of practice, I decided to pursue a Masters in Public Health degree at UC Berkeley as I was interested in the connection between human and animal health. During this time, I had the opportunity to conduct a study on leptospirosis in dogs living in the slums of Brazil. After finishing that program, I returned to Adobe  worked as an associate veterinarian until 2016, when I was promoted to Head of the Veterinary Team.

While I enjoy all aspects of patient care, I especially love emergency and critical care medicine, ultrasound, endoscopy, and infectious disease. I see primarily dogs and cats but also birds, reptiles with legs, and goats. I love working with the stellar team of doctors and staff that we have assembled at Adobe, where we are always teaching and learning from each other, striving to provide ever better patient care for the amazing creatures we see.
