Pets: Java (Rhodesian ridgeback), Ripple (large tabby cat), Mo & Jack (desert tortoises), and Luna & Sol (geckos)

I began practicing at Adobe Animal Hospital immediately after graduating from UC Davis' School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Prior to veterinary school, I attended both Michigan State University and San Francisco State and obtained a degree in Physiology in 1988.

I enjoy general medicine and soft tissue surgery. I also like to work with our endoscope and perform abdominal ultrasound. I have special interest in rabbit and ferret medicine and surgery. Recently, I became a member of the Ferret Education Foundation, which is hard at work getting ferrets legalized in California and educating the public on proper care of ferrets.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two boys, Steven and Kevin. I also like hiking, reading, gardening, and going to the beach.
